ABOUT
Alyssia is a Latina artist based out of Houston, Texas. She is a wife, mother and proud illustration artist that has a background in fashion design and merchandising.
Alyssia is now a full-time NFT artist that has organically grown through her daily efforts of showing up in the web3 space.
Being labeled as a woman, minority and a stay-at-home mom she hopes to break the stigmas and show that these add value to her art + ability to work hard.
WHY NFTs?
In 2017 Alyssia and her husband, Mark went through a difficult pregnancy and had twins at 25-weeks-old. At 16-days-old their son passed away in the NICU. Through this time Alyssia used her art to heal by channeling her emotions and pain to create art. She learned of how she could use her art to not only help herself heal but giveback by donating art to the NICU families and also to Sepsis Alliance.
Fast Forward to February 2021 learned about NFTs through the Clubhouse app and instantly saw OPPORTUNITY.
NFTs is her new way to not only grow as an artist but share her story of loss and pain. Through her pain a beautiful creative outlet was born. She hopes to inspire parents, women, mothers and Latinas to see how her story, passions, and culture make her who she is as a Latina Artist in the NFT space.
